Qualifications and Expectations for Governance Research Team
As a member of the Governance Research Team at Bristol Blockchain, there are certain qualifications and expectations that you must meet to ensure the success of our team and the organization as a whole.
Qualifications
- Knowledge and interest: Demonstrated understanding of and passion for blockchain technology, decentralized finance, and governance structures. (Important)
- Analytical skills: Strong ability to evaluate complex governance proposals, analyze data, and draw well-informed conclusions.
- Critical thinking: Capacity to assess various aspects of governance proposals, identify potential risks, and provide reasoned recommendations.
- Educational background: A degree or relevant coursework in fields such as computer science, economics, law, finance, or related disciplines is preferred, but not mandatory.
- Prior experience: Previous involvement in blockchain, DeFi, or DAO governance is a plus, though not strictly required.
- Time management: Ability to balance multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining a consistent level of engagement with the research team.
- Curiosity and initiative: Eagerness to explore new ideas, identify opportunities for improvement, and take the initiative in driving the team's research efforts forward. (Important)
Expectations
As a member of the Governance Research Team, you will be expected to:
- Active participation: Engage in team meetings, discussions, and contribute to the decision-making process on governance proposals.
- Time commitment: Dedicate a minimum of 30 -60 minutes per week for research, collaboration, and participation in team activities.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, share insights, and provide constructive feedback on research findings and recommendations.
- Accountability: Take responsibility for assigned tasks, meet deadlines, and contribute positively to the overall success of the team.
- Support: Encourage and support fellow team members in their research and contributions, fostering a positive and collaborative environment for the team's success.
